Fabulous, stunning scenery, friendly crew and lovely ship
Our group really enjoyed our cruise and we stunned with the beauty of Croatia. Fun friendly helpful crew, itinerary was great too. The food, overall wonderful, but not all. More salads would be wonderful.

    Converted to Cruising!
We booked this cruise at the last minute, just a week before, to join friends. What a great experience! It''s the first time we''ve been on such a cruise, and we loved it. Unlike an ocean cruise you get time to explore a different town every day, usually arriving after lunch and staying in port overnight. Captain and crew were great, really friendly, and looked after us well, and we enjoyed meeting our fellow passengers, some of whom became friends. I''m not a good swimmer but the daily swimming stops in sheltered bays along the Adriatic coast were a highlight. In late September the water was still warm enough, and the sea itself is a beautiful emerald green - I''d seen that in photographs but didn''t really believe it until I saw it with my own eyes. The places we visited were all ridiculously photogenic! So much history here, beautifully preserved - even Dubrovnik, which was heavily shelled in the Homeland War 20 years ago, looks great, having been meticulously restored following all the bomb damage. Meals on board were fine, and there were plenty of restaurant choices for dinner in the different ports of call, offering some superb food and wine. The local wine, Prosip, was very much to our taste and on the advice of our cruise manager one evening we sampled a very special wine - Grk. Superb. We found Croatians very friendly - and, of course, delighted to be able to welcome tourists again, after losing almost two full seasons. Final word has to be for the gelato. Ice cream shops are everywhere, there is strong competition and the quality is very good. My top recommendation is Gelateria Romana, Cosmijeva ul. 1, in Split. Ricotta and figs flavour. Never seen that before but I''d happily travel all the way from London to taste it again.
