Komarna is a small town, used to be little fishing village, located along the Adriatic highway, 7 km south of the river Neretva. If you are tired of crowds and eager to escape the fast-paced city life, Komarna is an ideal place for you because here you will find peace and beauty of the landscape and the endless blue sea. In Klek, located 3km to the South of Komarna, you can find more tourist content such as restaurants, cafes, and shops. While in Komarna, you can visit the historical heritage of the area such as the following: archaeological museum Narona (located in Vid and is the only “in site” museum in Croatia), ornithological collection (located in Metković and is one of the richest collections in Europe; contains over 340 stuffed birds which were or still are present  in the Neretva valley), the Norin fortress (Turkish fortress located in Metković, built in the 16th century by the Turks to protect from attacks), Dubrovnik city walls (built and added on to from the 12th to the 17th century, 1940 meters long and 25 meters high), arboretum (located in Trsteno, the only arboretum on the Croatian coast) and the Ston town walls (located in Ston, construction started in 1334 with the goal of protecting the city, the largest fortification – urban project in Europe at the time). Sports and recreation fans can enjoy swimming, fishing, cycling, canoeing on the Trebižat river, rafting on the Neretva river, various aqua sports and many other activities. You can taste the specialties of Dalmatian cuisine in the “Villa Bili” and “Komarna” restaurants located in Komarna itself, or you can visit Klek and “Adriatik” and “Kula” restaurants. We recommend that you do not miss the opportunity to visit Dubrovnik, Makarska, Split, Omiš, Ston and Mostar.

Dubrovnik is a city of unique and world-famous cultural heritage and beauty in Southern Dalmatia. It is known as one of the most attractive and most famous UNESCO cities of the Mediterranean. You can visit its various historical sites such as: city walls, St. Luke’s tower, forts Minčeta, Lovrijenac, Revelin and Bokor, Rector’s palace, Onofrio’s fountains, Sponza palace, Dubrovnik cathedral, St. Blaise church, Franciscan monastery, Ronald Brown memorial home, Rupe ethnographic museum, Orlando’s statue, the city bell tower and many others.

Makarska is one of the most famous tourist destinations on the Adriatic coast. Makarska has several historical monuments such as the Franciscan monastery (which includes a Pinacothec, a library, a Malacological museum, and the “Planina i More” institute) the church of St. Mark, church of St. Peter, city museum and the church of St. Philip. Those who prefer sports and recreation can take part in biking, sailing, jet-ski riding, basketball, hunting, soccer, volleyball, paragliding, hiking, rafting, fishing and scuba diving.

Omiš is a small Mediterranean town located at the mouth of the river Cetina. Of its historical characteristics, we emphasize the following: the fortresses Mirabela and Fortica, pariš church of St. Michael, Franciscan monastery, churches of St. Peter, Holy Spirit, St. Rocco, St. Mary, the Ilirian seminary, old cemetery, medieval town center, pole of shame and the old town lodge. Sports fans can take part in river rafting on the Cetina, free climbing, wind surfing, swimming marathon, beach volleyball and other activities.

Ston is the city of salt located at the very beginning of the Pelješac peninsula. It is dominated by the longest stone wall in Europe (5,5km). In Ston you can visit St. Michael’s church, the church of the Lady of Lužin, the Great Kaštio, the office of the Dubrovnik Republic, Rector’s palace, Napoleon’s street and the Gadnja cave.
