It is also known for numerous drinking water sources, which come below the sea bottom from the Velebit slope. Some of the largest rocks are located on Pag – the island is cut with drywalls overgrown in low bushes. The population of the island is engaged in viticulture, cattle breeding, olive growing, fishing and, more recently tourism.
