Novigrad is a small town located on the north-western coast of Istria. It was developed on a small island which was connected to the mainland in the 18th century for the first time. The town was first mentioned in 599 in written documents, but the tourism started developing only at the end of the 19th century. The town has a beautifully indented coast with numerous pebble and stone beaches. Novigrad is famous for its numerous historical sites that testify to its long and rough past. Visit the Novigrad Lapidarium (a rich museum collection of 93 stone monuments from the ancient times as well as the late middle ages), parish church of St. Pelagije and St. Maksim (aisled basilica, obtained its original form during the old Christian era, during the foundation of the Novigrad diocese), Rigo palace (built in 1760, the home of the patrician family Rigo, middle European baroque), belvedere (lodge built in the 16th century), town walls ( built in the 13th century), St. Agata church (romantic building which originates from the 9th century), Dajla castle (country villa-monastery) and numerous other historical buildings. Novigrad, as well as any other Dalmatian town, offers countless festivities and manifestations during summer. Some of the most famous are : Cultural summer of Novigrad (fun and cultural happening from 10.06.-31.08.), Gnam Gnam festival (gastronomy festival which offers fish dishes on July 9th), Novigrad music nights (14.-15.07.), fishermen night and St. Pelagije festivity (26.08.-28.08.). while staying in Novigrad, you can take lots of interesting trips – you have the possibility of visiting small islands, historical towns and the nearby national parks. Sports and active vacation enthusiasts can enjoy cycling, tennis, football, handball, basketball, beach volleyball and different types of water sports. If you would like to savor the gastronomical delicacies and specialties of the region, visit the restaurants “Santa Marija” and “Mandrac”, as well as the taverns “Amfora” and “Sidro”.

Porec is one of the larger tourist destinations on the Istrian peninsula. The city is famous for its historical monuments (the North fortress, the Fivepoints fortress, canons, medieval city walls and the Euphrasian Basilica) and its natural beauty (Baredine, Mark’s and Pincinova caves, group of trees near the St. Anne church by Červar). Sport and recreation fans can enjoy activities such as scuba diving, jet-ski riding, fishing, sailing, water skiing, walking, biking, golf, hunting or paintball. Those who prefer extreme sports can experience mountain climbing or activities at the adrenalin park “Akros.”

Umag is a city and port located on the northwestern coast of Istria. Many call it the city of tourism and sport because it has, for many years, hosted the ATP tennis tournament and it hosts many stars of world tennis.

Rovinj is a small city located on the western coast of Istria. It is rich with historical landmarks, of which we recommend the following: Old Town, City Walls and Gates, Church of St. Eufemia, Baptistry of the Holy Trinity, Franciscan Monastery and the castle on the island of St. Andrew. Apart from its historical landmarks, Rovinj is rich with natural beauty, as well. Be sure to visit sights such as Limska Draga, the Rovinj islands and coastal region, “Zlatni Rat” Forest Park, “Fantazija” quarry, “Palud” marsh and the Dvije Sestrice islands.

Pazin is a city with a long and rich tradition, located in the very heart of the Istrian peninsula. It is famous for its various historical and natural attractions such as the following: Pazin castle, St. Nicholas parish church, Franciscan monastery, memorial home, old high school, bishop’s seminary, the island Pazinčica and the Pazin cave. Sports fans can take part in activities such as biking, walking, free climbing, fishing, as well as many other activities.

      Wonderful, clean, the owners are very very friendly
      Everything was Perfect, we were there with our eight month old baby and everything was perfect. The Jacuzzi is great for cooler evenings.
