Culture

  • - The Church of St. Donat, Zadar – The church dating back to the 9th century is unique because of its circular ground-plan.

Fun & Nightlife

Each year Zadar offers its visitors the Zadar Summer Festival, Music evenings in the Church of St. Donat, and a great tourist festivity called Night of the full moon in July when the parties in the city squares and the tiny streets go on till early morning hours. Another great folk festivity is the Days of Maraska. The festivity lasts for several days and large quantities of the Maraschino liqueur are consumed. For those who prefer a livelier entertainment, there are many clubs on the island of Pag. In Zadar you should check out Forum, Gotham and Kult Cafe where you can party till early morning hours. Be sure to visit Kod četiri kantuna, a well-known hang-out place for young people. A perfect place to start your day with a cup of coffee and the sun on the Zadar riva.
